About Us
Who are we?
.
We are a growing group of nearly 80 experienced athletes and beginners based in Chichester, West Sussex. Our members range from students to young professional to retirees and we really are a Triathlon club for people of all ages and abilities
Our aims and objectives are to increase the participation of the sport, particularly amongst novices, disabled athletes and juniors. So if you are looking to join a club to get fitter, compete at a higher level or just for the social element we cater for all.
We are a friendly bunch who run 4 active training sessions a week under the instruction of three British Triathlon Level 2 coaches who help to keep us motivated. Some people attend all the sessions and some prefer to do some of their training on their own.
We are also registered with the National body for Cycling Time Trials which allows members to compete in the local time trials as part of CWTC.
If you have seen the sport and fancy it, or if you know nothing about it, or if you just want to get fit! why not come along and meet our friendly members. Its free to start with so why not join in!

When do we train?
.
Official club sessions are;
.
Swim: Tuesdays & Thursdays 20:30 Westgate Leisure Chichester
Tuesday £3
Thursday £2
We have the use of four lanes on a Tuesday and two on a Thursday. This allows different abilities to occupy different lanes, meaning faster swimmers are not held up by the slower ones, and those learning or honing their stroke are not swum over by the hotshots.
There is usually a choice of two swim sets which are broken down into drills to help improve technique such as the use of Kick boards, pull buoys, paddles and fins and many others. In addition, individual tutoring is offered to help people hone their technique and we often train specific to upcoming events, maybe practicing mass starts or diving.
We encourage people to bring a drink with them and to wear a watch to time lengths etc.
.
Bike 1: Sunday 9:00 Outside Westgate Leisure Chichester
The Sunday bike ride is on quiet country roads where possible and ranges from 50 - 70Km (30 - 45 Miles). We often visit the Rowlands Castle Café for a quick coffee and bite to eat before heading home for approx 12:30 - 13:00. We do not always stop at a Café make sure you have had a hearty breakfast and carry a full bottle.
Bike 2: Saturday
This ride is a slower, less intense ride with the aim of introducing road riding to beginners and improving that of others. There will always be an experienced rider with the group to help with bike problems and give advice.
Bike 3: Wednesday
The Wednesday ride is for riders of all abilities. Meet outside Westgate at 19:30.
