CWTC

Last night was a great night for the club as we won the Observer ‘Sports Club of the year’ award! CWTC fought off many great clubs including the well established Southdown Velo. As the winning club was revealed there was a cheer from the back row of the Chichester Festival theatre. Many of the club came down and got on the stage with Fred Dinenage to receive the award. The first to be interviewed was Junior member Sophie Campbell. When asked by Fred “Why did you join the club?” she thought for a moment and then Dad, Adrian, added “Because Mummy was in the GB squad and Daddy is the coach!”

All in all it was a great evening. You will be able to view the trophy at Westgate soon. A drink has been arranged for next Sunday 20th at the Nags Head to celebrate our achievements.
