The next club social will be at the Fountain pub in South Street at from 20:00 Sunday 12th April. All members are welcome so we hope to see you there.

Just a quick message to remind all the members who are racing at the Ampleforth European Qualifiers to check the website for information regarding start times, transition area and registration times.

Remember to bring your BTF licence with you if your are a BTF member.

We are still deciding on who’s driving up and when we leave. I’m sure we’ll discuss it over the next few swim meets.

The club has been running for a while now and this has allowed us to re-think some of the training days. We noticed that the swimming sessions are by far the most popular part of the club. However, we would like to see more people out running and cycling. We understand that most people are put off because they feel ‘too slow’ to join in. Due to this, we have now added a slower, less intense group to the Sunday bike ride.

The Sunday bike ride will also have a slower, less intense group. The group will ride at a slower pace and may not go as far. There is never a fixed route as we make it up on the day. We meet outside Westgate at 9:00.

We hope to see some more faces soon!

There will be a trasition practice session on Thursday 19:30. Meet at Westgate at the usual place. Don’t forget to bring your Tri shoes and elastic bands if you have them.
